If you are interested in trap than this is for YOU! Teams of 5 are welcomed to come out and shoot on the league on Thursday night. The league runs for 10 weeks. Anyone interested in more information or has a team ready to sign up contact: rault754@aol.com

Starting this Sunday Feb 14th from 12-3pm we will resume open trap! Yes, it may be slightly chilly but we will have a warm wood burner going by Trap No 1. So grab your date (it’s Valentine’s Day!) and grab your gun and let’s shoot some trap! See you on Sunday!

It is with a sad heart that I need to inform you all that longtime life member Don Speelman has passed away. He passed on Saturday December 12th at Lifecare Hospice. Below is the link to Don’s obituary.

Don was the second oldest member of the club and he ran the pop stand for several years. Don will certainly be missed at the club.

Due to the increase in the COVID cases we will be cancelling all open trap and pyramid shoots for December and January of this year. The meat shoot scheduled for January 16th is also cancelled. We will reschedule the meat shoot in the spring. The grounds are still open for the members to use. Please check the calendar on our website for any updates. The Silver Dollar Sportsmen’s Club would like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support. We would like to wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Club meetings for The Silver Dollar and Wayne Coon Hunters have been canceled due to the increase in Covid cases. This also includes our annual meeting in January. Club Officers and board members have agreed to stay on thru this year. Members will receive an email or letter to announce when we will start having monthly meetings. Club activities can continue with safe distancing and mask when appropriate. Open Trap Dec 13th and 27th, weather permitting. Check Calendar for updates.
