We want to thank everyone who helped make our Fish Fry a big success! We want to thank all our members who came out to help us get ready for this big day! Whether you helped us with,clean up, set up, prep the food, cook the food, eat the food, and then clean up again, we could not do it with each and everyone of you! We are grateful for all the help and support we got to make this day a success. We are a working together club that can have fun while getting the work done. We hope everyone had a fun evening! Ohio Claybusters Youth Trap Team Try-it Days

When: Parents meeting Sunday March 1st 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Try-it Sunday March 1st 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Safety Brief & Sign-up Sunday March 1st 2:00 am to 3:00 pm Parents meeting Sunday March 15th 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Try-it Sunday March 15th 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Safety Brief & Sign-up Sunday March 15th 2:00 am to 3:00 pm

Who: The Ohio Claybusters are a youth trap shooting team that shoots under the Scholastic Clay Target Program or SCTP. If you are in grades 5th thru 12th and wanted to give trap shooting a try but didn’t know how. This is your chance to give it a try and learn more about Ohio Claybusters.

Certified Coaches and Range Safety Officers will instruct and supervise youth shooters. Shotgun, ammunition and safety equipment will be provided. You may bring your own shotgun if it is a modern firearm that does not have exposed hammer. All participant to be accompanied by parent or guardian. Additional rounds of trap may be purchased through Silver Dollar Sportsmen’s Club. You may bring your own ammunition or purchase it from Silver Dollar Sportsmen’s Club if you want to shoot additional rounds of trap.

Saturday Feb 8^th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM

  ADULTS $12  Kids 10 and under $6

Menu: Canadian Cod, Fresh Cut Fries, Hush Puppies, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Rolls and Butter, Assorted Pies for Dessert,

**Chicken Tenders for those who don’t eat fish**

                  Open to the public. Invite your family and friends!

This Sat, Jan. 18th is the Dave Maimurm Appreciation Hunters Trial at The Silver Dollar Sportsmen’s Club! Make sure you get your dogs entered in by Thursday so you don’t miss out on all the fun! Lunch will be served!

Pryamid and Trap will also be open from 9:30 to 3:30!

Yesterday was a great turn out for our annual meeting! We had many improvements to our club last year and many new members! We will be posting more of those happenings on our Web page, which is going to be new and improved over the next two months.

We want to thank Devon Sigler for all the years of service he put in. He declined office for this year but I am sure he will be very active in The Silver Dollar Derby!
Bill Christian also declined office and we thank him for his years of service. He wants to spend more time with the Grandkids!

Attention all members! Our annual meeting is THIS SUNDAY, January 12th at 1PM! We need everyone to be there! This is THE MEETING where, as a club, we nominate and elect our Board Members and Trustees! If anyone would like to run for a position, please let it be known at the meeting! We will be providing Sub Sandwiches at the meeting! So come on out and see what’s been happening at the club this past year and what new plans are in the works for 2020! And come out and meet some of our new members! And remember, each and every one of you is important to the club. We always welcome new ideas. We will never turn down help. And we want you to know how important YOU are to The Silver Dollar Sportsmen’s Club!!

Silver Dollar Members – Reminder that the September meeting at Silver Dollar Sportsman’s Club will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 7:00 pm because of the Labor Day holiday.

Silver Dollar Sportsman’s Club is having a membership drive from 7/1/2019 to 10/31/2019 for 2019 membership!  

Any person that has not been a previous member of Silver Dollar Sportsman’s Club or Wayne Coon Hunters Club may join for the 2019 year for a reduced rate of $150.00!  

September membership meeting will be held on Tuesday, 9/3/2019, because of the holiday.

On August 17, 2019, Silver Dollar Sportsman’s Club will be hosting their annual Corn Roast.  All members, family and friends are welcome and encouraged to come!  This event will be held rain or shine so mark your calendars now! 

Dinner will be from 5:00pm to 7:30pm during which their will be a Chinese raffle, gun raffle,  50/50 raffle and corn hole toss.  

Dinner tickets are a $10.00 donation and children 6 and under eat free.

On the menu will be Sloppy Joes, Hot Dogs, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, homemade deserts, lemonade, ice tea and of course CORN!!

The Trap and Pyramid will also be open for shooting that day from 1:00 to 4:00.
Any member that would like to donate an item or items for the Chinese raffle would be greatly appreciated.  Bring with you the day of the corn roast or drop off in the main clubhouse beforehand. 

A Mossberg Silver Reserve Shotgun, 2 barrel set. 20&28 Ga. 26″ barrels w/choke tubes, new in box will be raffled off too!
